About

I was born and raised in Austin Texas and I currently reside in the suburbs of Austin, one of the fastest growing cities in the country! I have always had a creative streak and as a child I was much more interested in painting and crafting than sports or dance. When I was 12 I went with my mom to a boutique that sold home wares and furniture, I fell in love with that store instantly and a dream was born. I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur and create beautiful spaces. That desire never left, and I went on to get a degree in Interior Design with a minor in Studio Art. I started my career working for some of the best designers in Austin helping to design some truly amazing homes. In 2011 I started my own Interior Design firm and began taking clients of my own. The past few years have consisted of juggling a little one at home and running a small business at the same time. With my daughter going to kindergarten in the fall I will have more time to help people turn their house into a home!

When working with a client on their home my first goal is that the spaces that we are working on are functional for their family, making them beautiful is secondary.  If a space doesn’t work for your family first and foremost you will never truly love your home.  I take time asking questions and learning about the way that they live, where they spend their time when in the home and how they use their spaces.

I love to be able to teach clients as we go how to decorate.  I find that people can become so overwhelmed at the process of decorating their home that they become paralyzed and can’t make any decisions.  I enjoy helping ease the overwhelm and help take clients step by step through the process showing them that they CAN make decisions and how to listen to and trust their gut when it comes to what they love and what they hate.

If you asked my friends they would tell you that I love leopard print, eating tex-mex and shopping! My family often jokes that I was born to shop! On a Friday night you can find me either hanging out with friends drinking prosecco or a cold Lone Star or on a date with my husband exploring new restaurants in our amazing city! I collect Fiestaware, my favorite color being turquoise. I am an avid DIY’er and I enjoy building furniture in our garage when the weather is nice. I love to travel and have been lucky enough to go to some amazing destinations, but my roots are firmly planted in Central Texas, one of the greatest places on earth!
