Our New Home!

We moved into a new home about a month ago and I thought it only fitting to begin this blog with a house tour. Well, an empty house tour! We looked at many homes in our search both brand new and resell homes and we found one that we LOVE. We are really excited about putting our own stamp on this new home and we are excited about how much more space we have! We have a lot of plans for this house as we turn it into our home and I hope that you will join us in this journey!
Main Living, Kitchen and Breakfast area
We absolutely love this main area and how open it is. When we were looking for a new home finding something with an open floorplan was an absolute must. We love that in the evening we can all be together as I cook dinner and our daughter plays. It will also be great for entertaining and having people over!
Study/Craft Room
Another 'must' on our new home list was a space where I could operate and store my things for my interior design business and a place where I could craft and create that wasn't on the kitchen table. This room is going to be perfect for all of that! I can't wait to start working in here!

Laundry Room
Ok, so this is kind of silly, but I thought I would throw it in because I do absolutely love it! Our laundry room has the standard hook ups for washer and dryer on one side of the room and a built-in desk unit on the other side! This is going to be a great work horse of a room. Lots of storage for all of those home necessities and cleaning supplies.

We love all of the natural light in this home. During the day we hardly have to turn a light on!

The master bathroom also has a lot of windows and great light. The window over the sinks certainly adds a design challenge that I haven't encountered yet but I have some exciting ideas and I can't wait to tackle it!

Game Room
Again, LOTS of windows! This will be a great place for toys and playdates while our daughter is young and movies and sleepovers once she gets older. The door to our balcony is also off of this room.

Upstairs Bedrooms and Bathroom
We have 3 bedrooms and one bathroom upstairs, they are all a pretty decent size and all of them have walk-in closets. The bathroom has a double vanity and a door separating the area with the shower and toilet.

That is the bulk of it or at least the most interesting rooms. It is a beautiful home and we are so lucky to have found it. I am excited to infuse it with personality and make it ours.
