I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted anything on this blog! The last couple of months of 2015 were a whirlwind, we had a birthday party for our daughter and I hosted a baby shower for one of my best friends. Then it was Thanksgiving and Christmas and.... time just ran away from me! But I am so happy to be back and I am excited to kick off 2016 with an awesome DIY tutorial!
Read MoreThis Wednesday marks the first day of fall and while the rest of the country is starting to get glimpses of the seasons changing here in Central Texas it's still HOT and dry! Highs are still in the 90's everyday with not much end in sight. But 90's are a welcome change to the 100 degree weather that we experience for most of the summer!

Not only is it easy for us to hang out together, rather than being in separate rooms while she plays and I go about duties in the house, but it also gives a dedicated area for all the toys. So. Many. Read MoreIt's always fun to get new art up on your walls, but sometimes it can be a really intimidating task especially when you are hanging several items together. I figured it was finally time that I took the plunge and start hanging somethings on our bare walls. We have a nice open living area that encompasses our kitchen, breakfast room, family room and a small play area for our daughter.
